When a parent books a tour on your school’s TourTheSchool page, they will get a confirmation email, and you (school admin) will get a notification that someone has signed up for a tour:

Then then day before the tour and day of the tour, the parent will get a reminder email and text message.
These notifications are already set up in TourTheSchool and get sent automatically when someone signs up for a tour. If you’d like to make changes to the email notifications, though, below are instructions on how to do so.
Directions/parking instructions
To include special driving directions, parking instructions, or other information a parent will need to meet you for their tour, go to the Locations page in your school’s dashboard (https://dashboard.tourtheschool.com):

There, click the pencil/edit icon by the relevant location, and add or update your directions/instructions:

That’s it! The information will be included automatically in the email notifications parents receive when they sign up for a tour of that location.
Whether children can or cannot attend the tour
The email confirmations will say whether the family can or cannot bring their child along for the tour (“You are welcome to bring your child along for your tour!” or “We love kids, but we ask that you not bring your child for the tour so we are able to focus on your questions!”).
This language in the confirmation is tied to your Tour Types (e.g., you may allow children on your individual tours, but not your group tours).
Go to the Tour Types page in your school’s dashboard, then click to edit a tour type to see or change this setting:

Attachments
You can include attachments with the notification emails. If you want everyone who signs up for a tour to receive the same attachment, go to the Notifications page in your school’s dashboard:

Click the notification you want to have an attachment (probably the initial Confirmation email), and add your attachment near the bottom:

If you have multiple locations and have different attachments for each location, you can add location-specific attachments by going to the Locations page in your dashboard, clicking the relevant location, and adding the attachment here:

Editing notifications
In the Notifications page in your school’s dashboard, you can edit the emails that go out to tour attendees and school admin. Simply click the notification you want to edit and make whatever changes you wish. To include dynamic information (e.g., the specific tour time, child’s name, etc.), copy-and-paste the shortcodes from the key at the top of each notification:

To revert the notification back to the default version, simply click this button:
